How We Are Paid

This page says plainly where the money comes from. Jackpot UK Paradise is paid through commission, the ranking of offers is a commercial placement, and the method pages follow is written to work whether or not any reader ever opens one.

Commission on opened offers

When a reader opens an offer through the board on one of our guide pages, the operator pays us a commission. That is the whole commercial model of this site. There is no subscription, no paywall and no charge of any kind to the reader, and there never has been. The commission is paid by the operator out of its own marketing budget; it does not appear as a fee, a surcharge or a deduction anywhere in the reader’s account.

The arrangement is standard across the gambling comparison market and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise. Every guide on this site exists to help a reader choose an offer of this kind and, if they choose to, open it. When that happens through our links, the referring operator pays. When it does not, we are paid nothing for that visit, and the page stays up all the same.

The board and how its places are sold

The board is the ranked list of four offshore offers rendered immediately after the hero on every guide page. It is a commercial placement. Its positions are bought: operators pay to appear on the board, and the order they appear in reflects that commercial arrangement. A reader should read the board as advertising first and comparison second, because that is what it is.

This is the one page where we name the apparatus directly, because the disclosure would be meaningless without it. On every other page the prose discusses offers in general terms and leaves the board to speak for itself. Here the honest description is the point: the board is paid placement, its slots are sold, and its operators are named on the board rather than in our text.

What the editorial scores are

The board carries an editorial score against each offer, rendered as a gauge out of one hundred. Those scores are our own. They are not supplied by the operators, they are not verified by any third party, and they are not a measurement of anything a regulator has said. They are our judgement of how each offer reads against the terms that matter: wagering, caps, payment rails and the clarity of the small print.

Because the scores are editorial and the placements are commercial, a reader should treat the two together as a package: an operator has paid for the slot, and we have scored the offer ourselves. Neither statement makes the other false, but together they describe a list that is both an advert and an opinion, and that is exactly how we ask you to read it.

What commission does not change

Affiliate income does not change the method the pages follow. The assumption is stated here so it can be checked: every figure we print is a model built on stated assumptions, drawn from the category-typical terms operators publish, and never sourced to whatever happens to stand on the board today. The offers change often; the method does not. When an offer’s terms move, the board updates and the prose keeps working, because the prose prices the kind of offer and names its assumptions rather than quoting any single promotion.

We do not test by playing. The site models, calculates and cites, and says so. Where a figure is needed, the assumption is printed next to it. If a reader disagrees with an assumption, the calculators accept their own inputs and the arithmetic is visible.

What it costs you

Nothing extra. The reader pays no more for opening an offer through this site than by going to the operator directly. The commission comes from the operator’s side of the relationship. What the reader does pay, on every offshore offer regardless of how they reach it, is the licence gap: no GAMSTOP coverage, no Gambling Commission complaint route and no statutory credit-card gambling ban. That cost exists with or without us, and the licence aside on each guide page exists so it is never forgotten.
